Review by hotel critic
Having just returned from a city break at Hibatullah Hotel Makkah, I can wholeheartedly say it's a gem for anyone visiting the holy city. Nestled just a brisk 10-15 minute walk from Masjid al-Haram, the journey can be a little demanding for older travelers due to the elevation, but the proximity to the mosque makes it worthwhile. On arrival, I was impressed with the friendly staff who made check-in a breeze, allowing my friend and me to access our spacious room early. The room itself was a delight, complete with a comfortable bed and even a flat-screen TV showcasing the Makkah live feed-perfect for unwinding after long days of exploration. The highlights continue with the dining options; I particularly enjoyed the panoramic views from the restaurant while savoring a delightful mix of traditional Arabian dishes and international favorites-a perfect combination for the culturally curious. All this wrapped up in a warm ambiance made for a truly memorable stay. I'll surely be back, hopefully with my team of fellow archaeologists to share this experience!
